these are to entreate your favour for and in the behalfe of your poore Clyent Warner2 in forma pauperis that you will deliuer these Interrogacions inclosed into the Court vppon which one William Stones is to be examined accordinge to an order of the Court made 21° November last past.3 And yf you have any interest in the Examiner let me request you to entreate him not to slight him over but to holde him to the Interrogacions and then to take what Answer soeuer he will make. And yf my Lord Staffordes4 Sollicitor doe retorne the Comission in Court let me request you to further the publicacion of the bookes and yf he be slack therein let me request you to vrge it forwardes for the poore man and to give him day to shewe cause etc. The poore man of himselfe is not able to travell in respect of the weakenes of his body and purse And therfore I desier you to commiserate his case and I doubt not but the iustnes of his cause will one day incite him to remember your loue and paynes therin. Stones day of apparance is xve hillarie. Thus hopinge to see you very shortly I commit you to the proteccion of the Almighty. Sodbury in Com. Glouc. this 20th of January 1628–29.
