[DESCRIPTION: Design description of an "anemoscope," an instrument to measure wind force and direction (i.e., combination anemometer and weather vane). Nichols gave the same number (N566) and the same description ("Sketches and specifications for a wind vane [to operate machinery ?].") to two different drawings, each of which has its own "M" number (N566/M16 and this drawing, N566/M17).
