[DESCRIPTION: Early plan, showing the scheme for Poplar Forest when work was first begun. This drawing was probably originally made for Pantops, since the Poplar Forest house was exactly on the plan once thought of for Pantops. Historian Frederick Nichols' checklist indicates that the final drawings (N262/K194 and N263/K195) are in the collections of University of Virginia, Alderman Library. ]
