Wm: Browne, Tho: Warner and Peter Pickford did affirme that to morrow 14night about one of the clocke, they were called vp by Seaburne about a great noyse on the water, and comming out they heard a party cry he hath allmost killed a man, and another answered through the Rogue over board, and presently the boat was sculled on shore by the party and they asked him what was the matter, and boye tould them that the 2 men had been fighting and had lost an oare (and one of the men lay along in the boate, and the other sate by but neither of them spake, for they seemed to be drunken) so 166they stayed there till neer Daye and then the boy sculled the boat to Mr. Luxons shipp to which they said they did belong.
