Loving Cosen,

My loue to you and to my good Cosen your wife being remembred you shale vnderstand that concerning the men sarvants that you wright to me for to send you which weare 2 Carpenters or one Carpenter and the other a husbandman which yf I could have got yet would not your vncle Downing haue payed for ther passage but for Carpenters I could get none nor husbandmen such as weare fit for you but as for maydes and a girle I 125could haue sent you enoug yf my brother Downing would have payed for ther passage and therefore I have sent you but one because at this time I am shortned for mony and Mr. Peerse would be payed downe and would haue no lesse then fiue pound a passenger besydes 2s 6d for the surgion which I left with your vncle Downinge for him she is one of the goodman Frenches daughters of Assington I haue sent 2 of them one for your father and the other for you your father must take his choyse the eldest must sarve for 3 yeeres and the yongest 4 they stand to your curtesy whither you will finde them or giue them wages I praye let them be delt as well withall as any of the same quallity I praye improue that fiue pound od mony for a stock for your aunt agaynst she come and as for the 3li that you lent my brother Phillip I feare it wilbe lost for she hath so good a consience as to paye none of his debtes but what she is forced too by lawe therfore except you haue witnes and send a letter of aturny and so force her by lawe you shale never haue it so far as I can see I can witnes therfore she tould me that her husband tould her that he had borrowed thre pound of you and therefore yf my witnes will doe any good I shale be redy to testefie the triugth vpon oth and she is able enough to paye it for she is married to one that his lands are worth seuen skore poundes a yeere. also you wright to me, that yf I would send you word when I could come over, that you would giue me the best directiones that you could. yf it shale please god to make waye, I think to come the next yeere, and therfore I praye be as good as your word. I wright to my brother the last time conserning Robt. Crab what his penalty would be yf he should com over I praye inquier and also yf he weare of any good vse theare and send me word. my wife commendes her to you and your wife and all the rest of her Cosnes and freindes our Children lykewise remembers ther loue to you all. and thus desyring the Lord to blesse you with all spirituall and temporall blessinges for your comfortable living heere and your eternall in the lyfe to come vale.
