Probably John Plumbe, brother-in-law of Joseph Gale. The will of Mathew Munford, of Edwardstone, spinster, proved July 9, 1625, makes a bequest to John Gale of Aldham, co. Essex, and forgives “sister Gale” a debt of twenty shillings. Sudbury Archdeaconry, Wills, bk. 49, fo. 292.
