Mr. Liscombe has been with me this morning & offers me Iron in payment for my part of the House &c. I have no use for it & have made him this offer which he accepts vizt. to take his bond of this date for £60 payable six months after date with interest from the date, without any consideration for past interest or rent. He says he shall have the money for his Iron at that period. You will be so good as to negotiate this business as above, taking collateral security with the bond.1 I am with much esteem Sir your very obed & Hble. Servt.
