With over 20 different museums, venues, colleges, and organizations participating, exciting discoveries await everyone. Explore MHS’s new exhibition “The Dye is cast”: Interests and Ideals that Motivated the Boston Tea Party and join our walking tour of the Fenway neighborhood at 11:00 AM and again at 2:00 PM. Tour participants will meet at the MHS building at 1154 Boylston Street, Boston 02215.

The Fenway neighborhood is a vibrant cultural center with a long history of music and art. From The Roseland Ballroom to the Catacombs: Walking Tour of Lost Music Venues of the Fenway Neighborhood will look at some of the lost history of the area. Join MHS staff for a tour of former music venues where performers from Van Morrison to some of the jazz greats appeared. Tours begin at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Tour participants will meet at the MHS (1154 Boylston Street, Boston).

After five years and over $300 million worth of construction and refurbishment, the beautiful and historic Longfellow Bridge is once again fully operational. Constructed at the turn of the 20th century and designed with an eye towards the greatest infrastructure projects of Europe, the Longfellow Bridge has long been one of the most striking and beloved landmarks in Boston. Architect and urban designer Miguel Rosales has been involved in this restoration project for close to 15 years and will lead visitors on an in-depth tour of this exceptional bridge.
