  • The transcripts of JA's "Journal Fragments," 1755-1759, are at p. 105[should be 107]-262, 274. For the circumstances of the transcription, see JQA's memo at head of volume and also his "Rubbish," vol. 1, under date of Nov. 1829, where copyists' names are given as T. B. Adams, Jr., and W. C. Greenleaf.
