Lisa Krassner, President
Lisa Krassner joined the MHS in 2025. With over two decades of leadership experience in the museum and cultural sectors, she brings a deep commitment to history, cultural preservation, and public engagement to the Society. She is passionate about examining shared history, amplifying underrepresented voices, and connecting lessons of the past with the challenges and opportunities of the present.
Prior to joining the MHS, Lisa was the Edward W. Kane Executive Director of the Concord Museum in Concord, Mass. She has held senior leadership roles at several world-renowned institutions including The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the American Museum of Natural History, both in New York City, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts from Bryn Mawr College and Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Honors from Simmons University.
