This present writinge Testifieth, that I Jo: Winthrop of Boston in Newe England esqr. for and in consideration and satisfaction of one hundred and fifty pounds parte of a greater summe due from me to Jo: Winthrop my eldest sonne, have given granted bargained and sould vnto the said John my sonne All that my farme or parcell of land lying vpon Concorde River about three miles beneath the Towne containinge twelue hundred Acres which was granted me by the Generall Court in (3) mo: 1638 and also one parcell of meadowe adioyning containing about sixty acres more or lesse, granted vnto me allso by the Court in blank 1639. And allso all that parcell or necke of land now inclosed parte of my farme in Charlton called Tenhills lying ouer against the oyster banck, conteyning about thirty acres more or lesse. To have and to hould all the said lands and premises with their Appurtenances vnto the said Jo: Winthrop my sonne and Eliz: his wife during their liues, the remainder to Fitz John their eldest sonne and his heires forever. Provided allways and Reserved out of this present Grant vnto me the said Jo: Winthrop Margaret my wife for the Terme of our liues and the longer liver of vs one third parte of all such fruit as shalbe yearly growinge vpon the said necke of lande. In witnesse of the premises I have heervnto sett my hand and seale dated this 22 of 7ber 1643
