Whereas it appears vnto me by diverse Listenings that Francis Dente late of Salem deceased did declare his minde and will to be that if he dyed without other disposition of his estate, the same should goe to Edmunde Adlye, I doe therefore hereby grant to the said Edmunde power to administer the goods and estate of the said Francis,2 so as he cause a true Inventorye to be made thereof, to be deliuered in vpon Oathe, and to be accountable etc. when he shalbe required: This is allso to require all such as have any of the estate of the said Francis to deliuer in the same to the said Edmunde for which this shalbe sufficient warrant.

He is to bringe in an Inventorye and make further proofe etc: at the next Court of Assistants.

Memorandum by John Winthrop, Jr.: Memorandum mr. Hugh Peeters and mr. John Humfrie were Attornies for Edmund Adly and gathered in some of his debts for the said Edmund Adly and paid the same to the said Edmund Adly being the summe of fourty pounds and if there were any more to be had of Francis Dents Estate he left it to the said mr. Humphries and mr. Peters to dispose of to any vse they should thinke good.
