This is a new Booke and is now betweene 20 and 30s price. Dr. Fludd is of farr more esteeme beyond sea then at home.

Christophoro Barri, Cochin-China: Containing Many Admirable Rarities and Singularities of That Countrey (London, 1633). The copy which Howes presented to Winthrop is now in the Society’s library. At one time it was said to have contained the name “E. Howes” on the title page. 4 Collections , vi. 497n. No trace of such a name is now visible, but the title page does bear Winthrop’s catalogue number.
