Be it knowen to all men by theis presentes that I Thomas Gostlin of Groton in the county of Suffolk clothier haue received of Adam Winthrop of the same Towne gent executour of the last will and Testament of Henry Browne my wives grandfather, fiftie powndes of lawfull monye of Inglande, which he the saide Henry did giue and bequeth vnto Jane my Wife the daughter of the saide Adam in and by his saide last will and Testament in wrightinge of the which legacie and somme of mony, I doe acknowlege my selfe to be fully satisfied and paide, and therof doe acquight and discharge the saide Adam Winthrop his heires executours and administratours for ever by these presentes. In Witnesse whereof I haue to this my wrightinge put my hande and seale the Twentithe daie of October in the Eleventheyere of the reigne of our Sovereigne lorde James by the grace of god of great Britaine France and Irelande Kinge Defender of the faithe etc. AnnoDomini 1613.
