This day week I Recd. yours1 and take notice of what you write about the notes and your want of pay for yours. You are very Sensible, I told you I Could not Raise the money here and gave you them as Security till I Could pay you. Onely Mr. Ivers Certificates I told you might be put off at 10/ in the pound, for if I had them again I Could here make vastly more off them. The other notes I had no thots of parting with till Better times. Now if you can have Patience you may depend on my payg. you this Spring some way or other to your Satisfaction, so let the Notes &c Rest till better Times I am
