I observe the Contents of yours of the 30th of last month to my uncle, and am glad the affare of the mine Farm is at last settled. Should be glad the remains of the companys affares was settled in like manner. I have Latly recd. Letter from Lewis Thomas & Find he is returnd, but at present unable to Sattisfie me & Deseirs my Further Forbarence hopeing in Time he will be able to sattisfie, as my present Surcumstances is such, obliges me to call upon all those Indebted, & should be glad you would see this man in order for a Settlement & what moneys he is Indebted, to give me Some Secuerity, his Joint Note with one or more persons payable in one two or three years, I Shal be Glad you would See him Immeaidatly upon the occason and pray your Speedy answer please to let him know that his person is not Safe before he Settles with me on the Terms as afors'd.
