I wrote you by Capt. Jones wch. I conclude you have recd. I purpose this by Capt. Jenkins. I have nothing very perticular to inform you off, but have got such a habit of writing by Jones & Jenkings that I can't avoid it. I pray you to take perticular care of Knox & Leigh's affairs & not let me loose them. Write me by Capt. Jones if you have done any thing for me. I shall Administer on my Father Estate being his Ex
Be so good as to give the Inclos'd to Gideon & tell him I would not have him serve it unless he can secure some part of the Debt as much as the Costs will be at least. I have called him yeomen in the writ not knowing what Business he follows since he left keeping Tavern, if he has any addition, better than that be so good as to alter it in the writ & Sum:
