Bristol Ss At the Supreme Judicial Court begun and holden at Taunton within and for the County of Bristol on the Tuesday next preceeding the last Tuesday of October in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Eighty six.

The Jurors for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts upon their Oath present that Gardner Gray of Tiverton in the County of Newport and State of Rhodisland & Providence Plantations Labourer on the fifth day of November in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Eighty five about the hour of Twelve in the night of the same day with force and Arms at Taunton aforsaid within the County of Bristol aforsaid the Dwelling House of Samuel Fales Esqr. there situate feloniously and burglariously did break and enter and numbered gold and silver money to the amount of one hundred and fifty pounds of the Goods and Chattels of the said Samuel Fales in the same Dwelling house then and there feloniously and burglariously did steal take and carry away against the peace of the Commonwealth aforsaid and the Law of the same in such case made and provided

Octr. Term at Taunton 1786. The said Gardner Gray is arraigned at the Bar and has this Indictment read to him he says that thereof he is not Guilty, and thereof for Tryal puts himself on GOD and the Country.
