Taunton Novr. 20th. 1782 Dear Sir,

After a rapid march of four days & half, I arrived at this place last Monday evening; and as I always operate on the Spur of the occasion, I shall continue here untill my money is out, after which, I shall with pleasure visit you at Boston. I hope my Daughters will soon be on their way home. My Love to Mrs. Paine & Family.

Mrs. Paine is requested to purchase ½ pound of good Green Tea—Murphy will receive & pay for it.
