Taunton Octr: 8th. 1774 Dear Husband,

Your remembrance of me and the Children in your letter to Docter Cobb Dated 15 of September which we recvied the night before Last put me in mind of writing to you again for I had given over all thoughts of writing any more for I was in hopes of your being at home by this time but O how I am Desapointed but I hope the next news to hear your are on your Journey home. I Long for the time to Come. I heard you ware home Sick. I was Glad to hear it for it Give me reason to think that you ware mindfull of home. Our family are all very well and your Children are often asking when will there papah Come home. I am weaning my Dear tommey. Having nothing new to write only that you and Docter Cobb were Chosen to Represent the town but the Governor thought fit to excuse them. I beg you would write by the first opportunity and Let me know wene you desine to Come home this winter or Stay till Spring for every one are Looking and Longing for your return but being in Great haste Subscribe my Self your Loving & Dutyfull wife,
