Taunton febr. 28 1774 Dear Husband,

I Should be Glad you'd Send up Some Salt if you have an opportunity & Some. I Sent to Capt. Smith for a peace of his Broad Cloath & it is not fitt for a Cloak if you think you can afford it I Should be Glad you'd buy me one for I have thoughts of going to meeting once more. I Should have Sent Some Linnen but as you never Sent for any I thought you did not want it. I take it very unkind that you have never Sent me one Line one would have thought that in the Cours of five weeks you might have found time to write but I have heard that you are in high Spirits & Dont want to Come home but I hope you will Come home before Court their has been a great many men after you Since you Left home if you want your horse Sent Down I Should be Glad to know by the first opportunity. Give my kind Love to Sisters. I Remain your affectionate wife, though neglected,
