Boston 25th May, 1767 Dear Bob,

I hope you will be at the City to hold on at the Elections; tho', as I know you have not the most burning lust for politicks, I will suppose it possible you may do as I shall, that is stay at home & mind your own Business—and upon this Supposition I take this Oportunity to acknowledge the Rect. of your Favour about April Term,1 & beg the Favour of you according to your kind offer, to alter the Writ Holmes & al. Trustees &c. vs. Lambert for July Court, & give it to a trusty Coroner.

I have many Things to say to you upon Law, Theology & politicks, but as I have not time (the Bearer being in haste) to unburthen myself entirely, I will keep all till God gives another Oportunity to Your Friend & Bror.
