I1 have taken the Liberty to direct the Inclosed Bond & Power to your care, desiring you'll please to do the needfull for the recovery thereof without delay.2 You'll observe that there is Interest to be added to the ammount of the Bond since Novr. Last. I am respectfully Sir your most hble. Servt.

Aaron Lopez (1731–1782), a Portuguese Jew who settled in Newport in 1752. He began in trade in Providence and Newport and became prominent in the coastwise and West Indies trade (DAB).
