Weymouth Octr. 23d. I supose monday Evening 1758 Dr. Brother,

The Receit of yrs. Gave me Some pleasure but alloy'd with the Consideration that you must mope away the Winter without health or a Companion to alleviate the Sufferings of Life I dont know but I must Come & Contribute my mite toward your happiness. O that I cou'd how willingly wou'd I quit this raking life & Commence a Steady houskeeper? But the Stars deny me this preferment—pardon the Expression it Came up with a Sigh.

I've heard nothing from you Since I sent a Letter by mr. Burrel did you Ever receive it? I will Send another if you did not. You Complasaintly demand one of my best preformances, but I'm Unable at Present to write tolerable Nonsence for I'm very Unwell. I dont Know What ails me but have Strong presumption tis not love for the Cheif Complaint is ague fitts. Is there any Danger?
