I ask ten thousand Pardons for not obeying orders the reason is this I have all along design'd to come up with the Capt. &c. but rainy Weather has hindred my going to Germantown for the Bundle of Linnen you wrote for & my own Cloaths So that I Cant Start & the Wind is head into Bargain. There are many Diffuculties attend a womans going by Water & an old maid maint go by Unless She has a single horse or a Brasen Face. I hope by another time to Send the machine. Yrs. &c.,
