RTP Paine, Eunice
Fayal September 21 1753 Dear Sister Eunice,

After a passage of 36 days I arrived here on the 13 Instant & find such a place as I cant possibly describe by Letter, but if universal Caresses can endear a place, it must be agreable to me. I have acquired some very worthy Acquaintance of both Sexes & have received very many favrs. I often mention yr. Name & describe your Person wch. gives pleasure to others besides myself who have made me promise to bring you to see them. I can't do business here & so I purpose to proceed to Cadiz. Remember me to my antient & so honble. & never to be forgotten Freinds Messrs. Palmer & Spouse & Cranch. Tell 'em I never see any thing curious (of wch. I see many things) but I think of them & wish for their instantaneous Conversation. Excuse me to be perticular & assure yr. self I am yr. faithfull Freind & Loving Brother until Death.
