A Letter to the Right Honourable the Earl of Hilsborough, on the Present Situation of Affairs in America

This 55-page pamphlet, annotated on all but ten pages by Harbottle Dorr, prints a letter to Wills Hill, the Earl of Hillsborough. The letter is unsigned but Dorr attributes it to a Dr. Bancroft while others assign authorship to George Canning, Sr. The final twenty pages of the pamphlet prints "A Letter to the Author of a Pamphlet intitled, 'The Constitutional Right of the Legistlature of Great-Britain, to Tax the British Colonies in American, &c.'."
