My Dearest Friend

Mr. Brisler desires me to request you to let his Wife have ten dollars. I would inclose it, but I suppose it is hardly worth while.

The H. of R. is as determin'd as ever according to all Appearances.

When the Question will be taken I know not. They have no Bowells for their Country. Three Mass. Men are among the most obstinate and obdurate.

I believe it will be best to excuse Copeland from the service but I leave it to you to do as you think best.
