My Dearest Friend
I have just received your favr. of the 11th [Abigail to John, 11 December 1794] and am surprised to see that you have been two Posts without a Letter. The Post Office must be in fault for I have written you every Week and frequently two or three times in a Week. I am and have been pretty well. I will send you the Books you ask for if I can find them.
