This poster, published around 1913 by the National Association Opposed to Woman Suffrage, demonstrates that the states with high populations rejected enfranchising women. The men in yellow denote the "Double Suffrage" states where women were permitted to vote. Anti-suffragists argued that men voted in the interests of their female family members, and that women would "double" the votes of their male counterparts.
