Black silk bodice and left sleeve, all lined in glazed woven fabric sewn as one with the dress. Boat neck with center back hook/eye closure. Bodice front detail has four pleats at each shoulder, descending towards a center pointed hem. Narrow black silk piping detail around neck and down center front is repeated around the shoulder seams. Sleeve features a series of very narrow pleats across top shoulder seam which are stitched down 3 cm from shoulder and 2.5 cm further below, allowing the extra fabric to blouse out until gathered together in narrow pleats at the wrist, which lacks the cuff.
