[ This description is from the project: Boston Massacre ]

The broadside verse commemorates the victims of the Boston Massacre. Each of the caskets bears the initials of one of the five dead Bostonians: Samuel Gray, Samuel Maverick, James Caldwell, Crispus Attucks, and Patrick Carr. A sixth casket bears the initials CS, for Christopher Seider, an eleven year old boy who was killed in a skirmish on 22 February 1770.
