William Molineux, a British-born hardware merchant, writes to Robert Treat Paine, outlining the issues and dates of the upcoming trial against the British soldiers accused of killing five townspeople on the night of 5 March 1770. Paine was appointed by the Selectmen of Boston to represent the "Relatives of the Deceased."
