March 30 [1918]

Dear Family-

This is just a hasty line because
I have the chance to send this
letter along.

The last week has been
most extremely interesting, hard
work under uncomfortable conditions
but well worth while. I know a
little more what war is than
I did when I left home but

there is no need for you to
worry about me --

I will have to reserve all
details until I see you or
for several weeks at least.
Things certainly came with a
burst when they came, but
everything is looking brighter now.

Much love,
Nora
