goods of the inhabitants have been plundered by the
provost and Sheriff Loring, and
bro't to the
goal-house. They made a (mock) vendue of
them in the goal-house, Loring vendue master,

or tory Sermon, reflected grossly on the ministers
of the town, as the preachers of Sedition, and
on the people, Saying they were ungrateful,
in being the destroyers and murderers of those
very people who protected them from the
French and Indians of
