The President
The White House
Washington, D.C.
My dear Mr. President:
This letter is not of deep governmental importance
but may give you a smile.
This morning I received a letter from a gentleman
in
St. Louis, a lawyer, who states that his wife's
brother is named Truman Saltonstall. If we reverse
this, does it account for the "S" in your name?
I trust you will appreciate the spirit in which this
is written. Best regards to you!
Sincerely,
