Letter from Hannah Winthrop (baptized 1727-1790), in Cambridge to Mercy Otis Warren (1728–1814), in Plymouth, 22 October 1777, apologizing for an aborted visit on account of John Winthrop's having a cold and the weather not cooperating. Political matters are also addressed including commentary on the "Great General Washington!" and his "amazing" toils.
