Letter from Hannah Winthrop (baptized 1727-1790), in Cambridge, Mass. to Mercy Otis Warren (1728–1814), 3 January 1775, expressing her hope that James Warren and Congress will persevere in the cause of liberty and her fear of the consequences if they fail.
