Large broadside with a proclamation (signed in type) by Edwin M. Stanton, Secretary of War, describing the rewards offered for the capture of John Wilkes Booth, John H. Surrat, and David C. Harold, the assassins of President Abraham Lincoln. The broadside also includes a description of the fugitives and notes that Booth might have shaved off his mustache. The broadside has space at the top for images of the wanted men, however, no images appear in this copy.
