Supplied through Wilcomb E. Washburn (Feb. 1964) from Donald Bartlett, Professor of Biography, Dartmouth College, who gave photostat of letter to Baker Library Dartmouth. Thirty years ago he saw and photostated RC in hands of N.Y. gentlemen. His daughter was Elizabeth Shaw Button, married to M.D. by name of Button. Bartlett has offered to try to put us in touch with her if we wish. (See Washburn to W.M. Whitehill, 3 Feb. 1964).
