- Microfilmed. Original entries on Reel No. 2; transcripts on Reel No. 3.
- In the blank pages of this account book JQA had the transcripts of JA's early "Journal Fragments" continued, beginning a new pagination, with a title page by CFA: "No. 2. Copies of Old Diaries of John Adams in small paper books as described. [Slips inserted in the following pages indicate where transcription of each of the "paper books" of the original diary begins.] All the essential parts published in the Works of J.A. [Initialled:] C.F.A."
