- This and the following 12 fascicles of JA's Diary (i.e., D/JA/33-45) were found wrapped in a vellum Act of Congress (an act to establish certain post routes, 2 Dec. 1844), with notation on outside by CFA: "J.A.Diary 1782-5. printed. C.F.A." Also docketed by W.C. Ford: "John Adams Journal at the Hague."
