- 2 ADAMS, ABIGAIL. Wife of John. First mistress of the White House. A.L.S., 3 pages, 1784. $45.00
- To Cotton Tufts. A letter revealing the great abilities of Abigail who was making preparations to leave America to join John in France. (not to return for four years). This letter gives final and detailed instructions for the care of the house, the gardens, the livestock and the tenants. Provision is made for the tuition of the boys then in school and their proper care. Fine condition.
