- At the bottom of this letter is a note dated 20 June indicating that the original of this letter (not found) was sent to JA at Leyden. The documents enclosed with this letter, for which see JA's reply of 21 June, have not been found. The enclosures filmed with this letterresolutions of the States General and regulations for privateers regarding the ship Liberty--were not sent with this letter and are now at 23 May 1781.
