- Note: This MS, which used to be identified as one of the newspaper letters John Adamswrote as "U", was filmed under the date [1 Aug. 1763 et seq.]. It is still filed under that date, moreover, because of the fact that it is physically connected to the MSS of some of the "U" letters which did indeed write in 1763.
