This is a short letter, possibly from Dinah Roberts to a friend or relative, dated 11 August 1788.  Dinah Roberts, who was admitted to the almshouse on 30 October 1792, had three children named Rhoda, Henry, and Mary.  Rhoda is mentioned in the last line of the letter.  It is also possible that Dinah Roberts is the same person as Dinah Hewes, Dinah Ned, and Dinah Hartford.  The letter is very difficult to read, partly because the writer exchanged the letters "t" and "i" in the text, and also because of the unusual spellings.
