Collection Description
Representative men of Massachusetts is a collection of 135 photomechanical portaits of prominent Massachusetts men in politics, the arts, manufactures, business, law, and religion. Each portrait is accompanied by a guard sheet comprising brief biographical data about the sitter. Based on physical evidence, these plates were obviously removed from a volume, but the source is unclear.
