Directions By MBTA (subway)
The Hynes Convention Center stop on the Green Line is available from every Green Line trolley except E / Arborway. Hynes is also served by the #1 and #CT1 buses. Once you have arrived at the Hynes stop, exit the station at the Massachusetts Avenue door, turn left onto the street (you will be crossing the bridge over the Massachusetts Turnpike). At the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Boylston Street, turn right onto Boylston Street and proceed for two blocks, passing Hemenway Street. Parking
Since parking near the Society can be difficult, we encourage visitors to use public transportation whenever possible. If you have to drive, we recommend Pilgrim Parking, located just a few blocks from the Society at 50 Dalton Street.

Directions By Car
From the North (I-93)
Take I-93 to the Storrow Drive exit. Follow Storrow Drive to the Fenway exit and take the hard left marked with a small sign for Fenway Park. At the lights, turn left, following the sign for Boylston Street inbound / Massachusetts Avenue. Go through the next intersection / set of lights (Boylston Street and the Fens): the MHS is now immediately on your right. To proceed to Pilgrim Parking, pass the MHS, drive ahead three blocks (you will pass Hemenway Street and Massachusetts Avenue), and turn right immediately before Hynes Auditorium onto Dalton Street. The parking garage is on your right.

From the West
From Rte. 90, Massachusetts Turnpike
Take Exit 22 (Prudential Center), which empties onto Huntington Avenue. The Prudential Center will be on your right. Take the first right at the lights onto Belvidere Street. To proceed to Pilgrim Parking garage, take Belvidere Street past the Sheraton Hotel and turn right onto Dalton Street. The garage is on your left. To go directly to the MHS, continue on Belvidere Street to the intersection with Massachusetts Avenue. Cross Massachusetts Avenue at the light, which takes you onto Haviland Street. Haviland ends at Hemenway Street, where you must turn right. At the intersection of Hemenway and Boylston streets, turn left. The MHS is on your left at the end of that short block.

From Rte. 9
Proceed east on Route 9, which becomes Huntington Avenue when you enter Boston from Brookline. Follow Huntington to the intersection after the Christian Science complex and just before the Colonnade Hotel; turn left onto Belvidere Street (it is West Newton Street on your right). To proceed to Pilgrim Parking, take Belvidere Street past the Sheraton Hotel and turn right onto Dalton Street. The garage is on your left. To go directly to the MHS, continue on Belvidere Street to the intersection with Massachasetts Avenue. Cross Massachusetts Avenue at the light, which takes you onto Haviland Street. Haviland ends at Hemenway Street, where you must turn right. At the intersection of Hemenway and Boylston streets, turn left. The MHS is on your left at the end of that short block.

From the South
Take I-93 Exit 18 (Mass. Av / Roxbury) and take the second left. Stay in the right-hand lane, and take a right onto Massachusetts Avenue. To go directly to the MHS, follow Massachusetts Ave. approximately 10 blocks to Boylston Street, and take a left onto Boylston Street. The Society will be two blocks down on your left. To go to Pilgrim Parking, turn right at Boylston Street from Massachusetts Avenue. Proceed one block to Dalton Street, which is the right immediately before Hynes Convention Center. Pilgrim Parking is on your right.

Walking from Pilgrim Parking to the MHS:
Turn left on Dalton Street, heading one block up to Boylston Street. Turn left onto Boylston Street, walk down past the Berklee Performance Center, Massachusetts Avenue, and Hemenway Street. The MHS is on your left at the end of the next block.
